Last day of kindergarten

I can't believe this day is here . I remember the first day of school when we walked him in . Leaving was hard . He looked a little scared. The next day parents were told to start dropping them off in car line. He had never been in a car line . I was nervous , and I wanted to make sure he got to his classroom okay. The staff at Bethel Elementary guided them to there classrooms and soon I was less nervous every morning

I'm so proud of Colton. He did excellent and excelled in Kindergarten . He is above the required reading level and reads to little brother all the time. He knows over 100 sight words . He is writing all his numbers . He writes me notes all the time.  The teacher told me the other day he was one of her most well behaved students.

It's hard sometimes when you see how quickly time does fly. I remember a saying the days are long but years are fast and I never really understood until I had children.  I remember  the first day of preschool and how I wanted to stay there all day with him but I knew I couldn't .

He really loves school . He can't wait to go every morning. He likes hanging with his friends and loves his teacher Ms. Phifer .

He told me the other day he was nervous about first grade . I said you will do great . I think he will love first grade just like he loved kindergarten. I'm sure there will be more homework for him to do.
Homework is his least favorite .  I am looking forward to his first school project and I can't wait to help him.

This summer I plan to do as much fun stuff as we can on my two days off a week .

We have three weekend trips planned with lots of activities . My Husband can't do long trips because of his Company . But he can do weekend trips. :)
