Dragons banquet

The dragons had there banquet almost two weeks ago. I have been so busy I didn't get a chance to write about it.

The coaches had ordered pizza and some parents brought chips . I brought cupcakes .. The boys ran around and played kickball . They had a great time.

Coach Brad talked to the team a little before calling each boy up individually.
In his speech he talked about the most memorable games. Of course one  was the championship game.
He said when Colton Hoyle came up to bat  I knew if he hit the ball and got on base and the other younger players did we were going to win.  Then he said all of his younger players hit and got on base and that sealed the deal on the championship. He also said as a coach that was a great feeling to see the younger boys play so hard in the championship game .

We had the best coaches and best team and I still can't believe the Mint Hill Dragons were undefeated and won the championship.  

Coach brad had a little speech for each boy as he called them up.
He said Colton was one of the most improved on the team. He also said he came a long way with his hitting..

From the beginning of the season to the end Colton looked like a different baseball player. He improved in hitting , catching, and fielding. It was his first time in coach pitch and he was one of the youngest on the team . I can't wait to see what he can do next spring.

He has put his glove and bat away for right now and has been focusing on football.
We are trying to teach him some basics and get him conditioned . The heat will be hard on them in August with all the gear on.
