Urgent care and sweet frogs on a Sunday night.

OUCH!!

Sunday  night we were about to fix dinner. Waylon and Colton were being a little rowdy I told them to settle down. Colton sat on the couch to watch a cartoon and Waylon started running towards the couch and tripped over the area rug  and smacked his head on the corner of the couch.

My husband told me not to look at it just hold him until he calms down . He came to look at it after about two minutes of crying and said lets go to urgent care . I knew it must look bad if he said we need to go.

It was very swollen and looked like  the skin was starting to split. It looked painful.

The doctor at urgent care saw him right away.
She said it did not need stitches or glue. She had him answer a few questions to make sure there wasn't a concussion . She had him squeeze her hands and push her hands up and down. She looked in his eyes and said I really think he is okay.  She didn't see any signs of a concussion/She told us to watch him for 24 hours. Sweet frogs is in the same parking lot in Monroe, NC. I took the boys there . Waylon loved it and fell asleep as soon as we headed home. He still had chocolate on his face.

I was so thankful he was okay. Colton hit his head a few times when he was little.
