South Mountain State Park..

This State Park is one of the best I have been too. Very clean restrooms and very friendly staff.
It is less than two hours away also which makes for a great day trip. We try to visit most of the state parks .

 We hiked the  High Shoals Falls Loop Trail . It ended up being close to three miles when you do the loop.
It was strenuous for a short while but the rest was easy ..  

Colton stopped everywhere for me to take pictures :)

The waterfalls were beautiful.  Colton had a hard time because his legs were sore from ball practice Saturday. But he made it .

We will definitely be going back to this state park and hike the other trails .
I have already looked up three more hikes for our family to do this spring . I love hiking in the spring and fall. The summer is too hot ..
