elbow Tendinitis

Since around Christmas Colton has been complaining about arm pain that comes and goes

he points around his elbow if asked where it hurts.

He had a sinus infection two weeks ago so I mentioned on to the pediatrician 

He said it was from the virus and he was achy 

After that I monitored it and it was still bothering him off and on so I took him back to the pediatrician Monday .

Being silly in the room :)

She said let's X-ray it and Colton was excited,  he said he wanted an X-ray. The x-rays turned out fine but she thinks he has elbow tendinitis . We were told to ice it and get an elbow brace . The  brace should be here Friday .

If it persists we may have to see an orthopedic doctor so I am hoping the ice and brace help him.

Tennis Elbow is a common name used for an acute form of tendinitis in the tendon fibers that attach the forearm muscles to the elbow. (short description ) It sounds painful ..
