July 4th virus

Let's back up to Waylon's eighteen month check-up Wednesday !! The pediatrician noticed bumps all over his back .. I saw a few that morning . When they went to weigh him there was a lot more.

NOT FEELING GOOD :(

 they were mostly on his back and a few on his stomach and some on his upper thighs ..  She asked me how long they has been there .I said I noticed a few that morning but not that  many .

 She said either it was bug bites or a virus coming on . Just keep an eye on it . 

SPARKLERS

Thursday I took the boys swimming  for just a little while and Waylon was fine . When we got home he took a two hour nap and woke up from his nap with a fever. I called in and let the pediatricians office to let them know .

Every four hours through the night his fever started climbing again. Motrin was helping better then Tylenol.
We had to cancel seeing the Oakboro parade this morning with some friends and Colton was upset. I tried to make it up to him by letting him do sparklers in the evening and we baked forth of July cupcakes...

We even caught another tree frog ... He said he had a good day !! I hope so and I hope Waylon's fever breaks soon. I gave him a bath and he got the shivers. I read online that's the bodies way of trying to break the fever so hopefully were almost over this..I don't like my kids being sick and for him it is even harder because I am trying to get more weight on him and every time we get one we get a small set back ugh!!!
