Because he kept saying his tooth was hurting. . He kept pointing to the same tooth they worked on two weeks ago . Dental appointments are hard but I was pleasantly surprised by his behavior :)
He was smiling the whole time from beginning to end .. They said the tooth they worked on is fine but the molar beside it that was worked on last summer is eventually going to come out. It should have gotten a nerve treatment along with a crown.
So in the next few months we will watch it and when it needs to come out the dentist will remove it and put a spacer in..
He has a cleaning in two weeks and they will take another look at everything .. Hopefully everything else is looking good... He was excited about his cleaning and shook the dentist hand (he cracks me up)..
He told her I can't wait to see you in two weeks :) I love his new attitude towards the dentist and I hope it continues...
Waylon is cutting a first year molar on the same side of his mouth where the ear problem was . So he is not a happy baby right now and he is pulling his ear and screaming off and on. I was told to give him IBUPROFEN for discomfort and that is helping but I can tell he is hurting :( I just read on baby center they get the first year molars from 13 to 19 months and 2nd year molars from 24 to 33 months Ouch !!
I also read the arrival of molars is twice the teething pain POOR BABY ...
