Grandfather mountain

The last day of our vacation was spent at Grandfather Mountain !!! It was so windy that the bridge was shut down when we got there . .They were only charging half price.  ! It was fifty five degrees and chilly with the wind... First we went to see the animals!They have eagles, bears,otters, deer and cougars ..The otters were Waylon's favorite ..

After we saw all the animals we went for a little hike called the woods walk. It was a short easy hike but it was nice.

We climbed split rock after our hike. Jeremiah stayed in the car with Waylon.
After that we saw that they had opened up the bridge so Again Jeremiah stayed in the car with Waylon and we went across the bridge ..

Going across this bridge was a great accomplishment for me ..When I was little my mom and dad took us out on the old bridge. Now this is a new bridge made of steel. It swings just a  little nothing like the old bridge.
My dad got in the middle of the bridge when I was little and started jumping and shaking it . I was so scared and said I would never go over it again...
