so many Christmas trees |
We went to Boone NC this past weekend and stayed in our favorite cabin for two nights.
We didn't get to do much Saturday. We drove around and went to cracker Barrel for breakfast. It rained all day . We were hoping to go on a hike and get our tree Saturday. It was so rainy and I didn't want the kids to get soaked . So we went back Sunday morning on our way back home. We let Colton pick out the tree again.

Waylon wanted the little tree |
I think he is getting good at it.. We rode out to the trees on a hay ride and Colton immediately started looking. He was on a mission . He found a beautiful 7 1/2 foot tall tree. It fit in our house perfectly.
I love having a real tree and the smell when you walk in is amazing.

this stick was for measuring the tree |
The kids helped me decorate, Kind of.. Colton puts a cluster of ornaments in one spot then I'll spread them out and Waylon likes to play with them instead of hanging them on the tree, but it was fun !!

Clark's Evergreens is family owned and operated right outside of Boone NC.
this was our second trip to see them and we will probably make it a tradition.. |
