School is Awesome..

Colton is doing great in school .. He really enjoys it... we are so proud of him
I love seeing him every afternoon and hearing all about his day .. He has two friends and there names rhyme Sam&Graham. He keeps telling me about a girl who chases him and his friends on the playground. I told him she likes y'all and he didn't like that.

Colton still loves going to get books . That's kind of our thing right now. On Saturdays we try to go to the used book store. This past Saturday we found a new one in Monroe and it was huge . It was the book lady.. They had so many books. I only spent twelve dollars and we left with  17 books. Not bad:)

I read to him all the time , I am trying to get him reading soon....

He  has his first homework assignment and it is focused on helping the kindergartners read.
We have to bring in a label off  a box or advertisement  , examples are target ,walmart McDonald's , pizza hut, lucky charms   things  kids recognize when they see it . This will go on a big word wall. Pretty cool idea!!I think they will review the word wall every day.


When he got in the car yesterday I had munchkins from dunkin donuts waiting on him .. He said yummy dunkin donuts munchkins. He recognized the box so I cut that off and I'm sending that in.

He is excited about learning and making friends . This makes me a happy momma.. I love Bethel Elementary and I think they are a wonderful school. I have volunteered  for PTSO and plan to help out whenever I can.

Today my mom had lunch with Colton , when they were done and lining up she talked with his teacher. She asked her how was he doing in class? Her response was I wish I had a whole class of Colton's .. She said really? and his teacher said yes he is excellent. Good job Colton....
