Kindergarten Camp...and open house

drop off :)

Last Thursday  was Colton's Kindergarten camp. He was nervous when I dropped him off but when I picked him up he was so excited. He said I liked it mommy. That was so awesome to hear.then he told me
 he was starving. He said you have to pack more lunch.. So I took him to his favorite  chick-fil-a and I listened to him on the ride . He had so much to tell me..

He said the teachers were all nice , he had a favorite and he said I hope I get her. I asked her name but he couldn't remember. Then he said they ate in the big cafeteria and made a sign with there name on it and cut it out. He asked if they gave it to me and I told her they are probably going to hang it in your hallway..

He said they were asked to draw a picture and he drew one of his family with the sun and the sky . I hope I get to see that. He made a friend on the playground. He saw the library and computer lab. He saw the other classrooms not just the kindergarten classrooms. He said they saw the front office and where the school nurse is. It sounds like they showed the kids everything in the school . He had a lot of fun. He even asked when he was going back....

They were asked to line up if they had on red and he had red on his shoes... He said they did hips and lips ... He showed us putting his finger to his lips  and hand on your hips while they walk in a line..
I was the second one in car like to get him and he was waving at me and told one of the teachers there is my mommy...

The next night was open house just for kindergartners not any other grades. We all met in the gym first to go over things then we headed out in the hall to see what class he was in. He got Mrs. Gendy . I've heard she is very nice . She is pregnant and due the end of September so he will have a substitute for part of the year..

We went to check out his classroom and saw his artwork in the hall . We talked to his teacher for a minute and she does seem very nice. He seemed excited and ready for Kindergarten . I think he is more ready than me ..

Tomorrow(Tuesday)  is his first day  mommy and daddy are both dropping him off ....
