strep like virus..feeling better

I wrote about the July 4th virus recently.. Now this past weekend Waylon had another one.. It was the strep like virus ugh.. I couldn't believe it back to back viruses again.. He is having a rough summer so far...

They did the strep test that was negative BUT  he had blisters in his throat. I took him to the walk in clinic Saturday .. By Sunday evening the fever was gone and he was attempting to eat..I stayed out  of work Monday because I did not want the other kids at school to get the virus..

I went to work Tuesday and took Waylon to the Sunshine House. Colton stayed at papas because his class had no room for him that day. It's not one of his normal days. I was thankful he was with papa because around noon I got a call that he had thrown up and then changed clothes and fell asleep  on the couch .

If you know Colton he doesn't sleep during the day ..So I knew something was wrong.

By four pm he had a fever of 103 and MawMaw ran to walmart to get him Tylenol .. After the Tylenol kicked in he was a little more like himself .. The fever came back around 10:30pm  so I gave him children's Motrin that held through the night .  When he woke up he was complaining of throat  pain . I didn't want to take any chances so we went into the pediatrician . They did a strep test that was negative but his throat looked swollen and some blisters . .. He is better now .. I just hope me and my husband don't get it...

Both kids are eating and seem fine so that makes mommy happy...  We leave for the beach in nine days
so we need all viruses to stay away....
