Emergency room visit ...

Tuesday night is when it all started . We were loading up the car for a ball game and colton said I am going to climb the tree before we leave. I said no climbing.. Guess what ?? He didn't listen..He is a boy!!

I looked over and he was climbing ..

I took a picture and said get down. He was a little higher. He yelled I am stuck. So daddy started walking over to get him. He fell scratching his belly and started crying. We waited a few minutes and asked him if he still wanted to play his game. He said if  I can get a COLD ICEE.

He played excellent and never complained of any more pain. When we got home from the game he ate some snacks and went right to sleep . About 2:45 am he is tapping me on the shoulder rubbing his belly and saying it hurts. I said run to the bathroom . He didn't make it. Then he threw up the whole night . He threw up so much there was nothing left but spit. It was awful...

I called the pediatrician in the morning as soon as they opened and they were concerned because he fell and then threw up. They said go to the hospital to make sure he didn't hurt something internally.

We were there all day from 9am to almost 4pm. They did an ultrasound , x-ray's,and  labs . He was dehydrated so he got IV fluids.  All the tests were normal and they weren't quite sure what happened. After the fluids he felt a little better. So they told me to watch him carefully the next few days . I was so thankful.

I had both kids with me and didn't eat anything before we left the house. Nana brought me a chick-fil-a sandwich at noon . I was so thankful for that.. They both fell asleep waiting to be discharged. Waylon slept on me and Colton fell asleep in the chair . I put him in the bed so he didn't fall out of the chair..

He slept great last night  and said he feels great. ................The doctor told him no more climbing trees and Colton just smiled ..
