critters...

We have all kinds of critters running around outside at night.

This whole week we have had  raccoon's visiting. I think its a pregnant mommy raccoon because she is huge.. . She tries to get in the dog food every night. I have never seen raccoons that close and they are pretty. One night we made the mistake of leaving the lid off of the dog food. She ate it all and we watched her from our window. Now we are careful and always close it and put firewood on top of it. Last night there were two raccoon's and they were trying to get the lid off. We watched them again. They couldn't get it off so they left.



We have also seen a possum running around the back yard and in our building. I do not like possums they look scary to me.  I think these animals are hungry and just looking for shelter and food . Somehow they have ended up and our house but it entertains us .

 We think they will leave once they see there is no food . Until then I guess we will watch these critters from our window.

I am going to try and get a picture tonight if the raccoon's come back .....
