Chicken minis and mommy's tears

This morning I was driving Colton to school and  we were chatting. ...

He started talking about when he starts big school (kindergarten) .. This comes up once a week sometimes more ..

He asked me if I was taking him to school and picking him up .. I told him mommy will take you every day and pick you up .. 

Then he asked if I was coming to lunch. .,

I told him I would  come once a week and eat with him and bring baby brother.. 

I told him sometimes I might come twice a week. .. 

He was excited and I could feel some tears in my eyes . 

Then he said will you bring me my favorite which is chicken minis and put them in a lunch bag with my favorite dipping sauce.

Then the tears just kept coming . He was concerned and said why are you crying? I told him they were tears of joy because I am so proud of him and they were tears

Because he is growing up so fast ..

He reminded me that no matter how big he gets he will always snuggle with me. . 

He knows that is my favorite ..

He is growing up and I am so proud ..

Sometimes the tears come because I am 

Shocked he will be starting kindergarten ..I don't know how this happened  

I remember holding him in the hospital for the first time like it was yesterday!!
I'm sure there will be more tears from me as the start of kindergarten gets closer and closer ...
His pre-k Graduation is in eight weeks and they have been practicing...

So this post is for him. ....  We love  you Boogie and are so proud of you :)
