beach days

Last time we went with my mom and my sisters family but this time it was just the four of us!!

We had so much fun. We drove Friday and got to the beach house about 8pm. We went out for dinner and some groceries. Saturday morning we were so excited we got up at seven and we were on the beach by nine am :) Well  I was up at 6am and went to get hot krispy kreme donuts before spending the day on the beach.

We got to spend all day there . My husband only spent a little time on the beach with Waylon because it was hot and I didn't want him out to much . He went up to the condo and took breaks from the heat.

Colton was so good on his boogie board . I was so proud of him . He has no fear. It makes me a little nervous but thats boys :)

I somehow forgot to sunblock my shoulders . I think with making sure everyone else was ready I forgot myself . They were hurting the next day but they feel better now. I won't forget again!!

The time Waylon spent on the beach was sleeping. He really likes to sleep under the umbrella on my lap .

People kept walking by saying awww he is so cute sleeping. I  Burried Colton in the sand one time( he wanted me to). I left his head sticking out . It was so funny..

Around lunch time it stormed but we were hungry . I walked down to this little place called scoobys and got us some food. I've never seen Colton eat a hot dog so fast.  The storm was gone after we were done eating so we spent the afternoon until 3:30 . Then we went back to the beach house.  We ate mellow mushroon for dinner. We took it back to the house to eat because it was so busy there. A baby and a four year old in a very busy restraunt after a long day didn't seem like a good idea. :)

Colton swam after dinner in the neighborhood pool with daddy. We watched them . Waylon giggled every time big brother jumped in. That boy is a fish. He could live in water. :)

I love that about him because I was that way. I  loved to swim (still do ) and loved the ocean. I am a little more fearful of the ocean now as an adult then when I was a kid but I still go out in it.

The next day we went to holden beach before we drove home. Holden Beach NC is one of my favorite places. We rented a little house there for september . We are staying five days. I found a photgrapher too. Yay!! We went to see the house and it is so close to the beach. That will make it so easy !! I can't wait. It will be the four of us again.
