My doctor with Waylon

Our newest little man is here and he is doing great!! I was awake for the whole surgery which was awesome. With Colton I had to be put to sleep. This time I got a spinal tap which makes you go numb very qick. My legs were heavy in less than one minute. I think he looks just like his brother . When he was born  My doctor said he looks like big brother to me.    I was able to have my doctor which was such a relief.  Surgery went so good.

Meeting Mommy

I was in recovery for a long time because I was so sick. My family started getting worried.  I got into my room at 9pm that night . My surgery was supposed to be early in the day but I was not an emergency and I got bumped for two other deliveries. One emergency c-section and one other delivery. I just waited patiently in my room. He was born at 4:21 PM ON 12/31/12. His birth weight was a little off . In the OR they said 6 lbs 13 oz. In the nursery before his bath they said 7 lbs. 2 oz. I think the first one was correct. They went with the nursery weight of 7 lbs. 2oz.  He was 19.5 inches long . When we left the hospital his weight was down to 6 lbs 13oz.

Big Brother and Baby

Big Brother loves him. He tells everybody it's his baby.  We are adjusting to our new life with two boys and are very busy but it's so much fun .  Baby Waylon sleeps great so far. Colton was never a good sleeper and he still doesn't sleep alot. I think Waylon  might be our sleeper. We went to see the lactation consultant on The friday after we were discharged because they had to fix his little toungue :( He had Frenulum lingua .He nursed  better after is was done.

At his one week checkup he was to 7 lbs. three oz. We had to go back on thursday to check his belly button and he was up another 4.5 ounces .  He is a great eater and it makes me so happy. We did our newborn pictures and I loved them.  Our photographer really took his time and was very patient. Our computer was down for almost two weeks but I finally got the Birth announcements in the mail. Today is his one moth check-up and I can't wait to see what he weighs. He feels so heavy to me. I'm thinking 8.5 Lbs.
