About three weekends ago my husband had to go out to his parents around 8pm.  Right after he left we had a bad storm and we lost power three times. Colton was upset because we had no TV !! So we were reading books by candlelight when daddy got home. He came in the room and looked at me and said come to the front porch . I was thinking what is going on. When I opened the door there were two puppies one was tan and one was black. He said they had followed him home while he was coming down our road and he thinks he saw them out in the middle of a big field.  The puppies were so cute and skinny . There ribs were showing. We fed them that night and went to bed . The next morning they were still there . I didn't know what to do because we already have three dogs bear, buster and sassi. I started calling my neighbors because this was something that happens all the time on our  road being a cut through road people drop off there dogs. My one neighbor has taken in three strays already. It is so mean, I  decided to keep them . I took them both to the vet that same day for rabies vaccine and parvo vaccine because I had no idea what shots they had. This was monday. The puppies dig great at the vet and they were both happy and healthy until wednesday. When I woke up Wednesday morning the littlest one we named  her pepper had starting showing some signs of parvo. It was July 4th and I had nowhere to take her.  She kept getting worse and the other one was fine we named her lizzie. Thursady morning my neighbor and myself took pepper to the vet and they had to keep her because she was so sick. Friday morning they called and said she didn't make it through the night and to watch the other one very closley because they were sure this was parvo.  Lizzie was fine friday but showed a couple signs first thing saturday morning. I didn't wait we went straight to the vet. They kept her all weekend.  On Monday I called to check and they said I could pick her up that afternoon. We were so happy!! She has been doing great since and should never get parvo again. Once a dog has it is highly unlikley to get it again. She has now put on ten pounds and her ribs are more covered. She is very gentle with Colton and just a sweet puppy. I always wanted colton to have a puppy he could play with .

Sassi is a pitbull and old , buster is way to wild and bear is like a gentle giant but he is huge. Lizzie is perfect for him .. It is cute to watch colton walk her around and use his Big voice to tell her no when she jumps !! We were definitley not looking for a puppy but wow what a sweet puppy we got that just showed up at our house :)
